Open For Takeout & Delivery, Continued Services for Kids and Seniors

Open daily, 7 am-4 pm

The Good Company Doughnuts & Cafe Team would like to thank everyone for their support!  We are here and will remain open for as long as we can as we work through this challenge together with our neighbors.

Our enhanced cleaning and sanitation regiment is in place and the cafe is open for take-out and delivery in accordance with Arlington County’s informal directive as of Monday evening:

Arlington County Pleads with Bars and Restaurants to Close Dining Rooms

Statement from Arlington County

States across the Country, including DC and Maryland have ordered all bars and restaurants to close for dine-in service as of 10:00 P.M.tonight (March 16). Arlington County does not have the legal authority to order the same.  However, we ask that Arlington bars and restaurants take responsible action and switch from dine-in service to only offering carryout and delivery. We have seen some restaurants get very creative with how to do carryout with social distancing. Encouraging carryout service is a good way to help these small businesses and their staffs make it through this challenging time.

We thank all those that have already done so, but we plead with all our bars and restaurants that have NOT yet closed their dining rooms; to do so as of 10:00 PM tonight (March 16) and not reopen until we can all work out safe ways for patrons to be served in person. Otherwise, we will likely be overwhelmed by COVID-19 cases and the health of everyone in Arlington will be in jeopardy.

We appreciate your partnership in keeping our community safe.

Libby Garvey. Arlington Board Chair
Mark Schwartz. Arlington County Manager

To support the community, we will comply with this directive and close the dining room, effective at noon today, Tuesday, March 17, until further notice. That said, we’ll have our amazing coffee and doughnuts, along with our delicious soups, salads, tacos, sandwiches, and pastas available for take-out and delivery.

Modified Hours

In order to conserve resources and mitigate the impact to our team, we will temporarily modify our hours for the foreseeable future. The new hours are 7 am to 4 pm daily.

We will continue to offer free meals for school-aged kids in need and fee delivery for seniors. We are also offering coffee and a doughnut for $5  Monday through Friday. Daily specials will be advertised on our Facebook and Instagram accounts, #gocodough

Online Ordering and Delivery Options

  • Online ordering available
  • No-contact curbside pickup available upon request

We ask for your patience as we work to serve you in this dynamic and difficult situation. We are following government guidance with respect to our operations to ensure that we safely serve the community.

While temporarily closing the dining room is a necessary precaution at this time, the decision to do so in not inconsequential as members of our team will face additional hardship while we fight through this crisis.

Rest assured, we will do everything in our power to support our neighbors and team members to the best of our ability. The well-being our staff and guests is our highest priority.
