Nothing is more refreshing in the summertime than lemons and limes. Indulge your cravings and support a local non-profit! Good Company will donate 10% of sales from our lemon pucker, lemon old-fashioned doughnut, and limeade during the month of July to Bridges to Independence.
Bridges to Independence leads individuals and families out of homelessness and into stable, independent futures. A private, nonprofit organization, Bridges has been working with and for homeless families since 1985, when it was founded as the Arlington-Alexandria Coalition for the Homeless.
Their kid-run Lemonade Stand is the centerpiece of Bridges to Independence’s summer youth program. Participants practice good decision-making, a strong work ethic, and reliability through promotion, prep/cleanup and management of their own lemonade stand.
Due to COVID 19, this summer the Lemonade Stand is going virtual with the help of local small businesses like Good Company. Our partnership will help keep the lights on until it’s safe for the kids to get back out there.
